Turning 24..

I just had my birthday a few days ago. Needless to say, I enjoyed the day - although it was a bit hectic morning. I slept in a bit (got up around 7:45am), so I had to rush a bit, forgetting to bring my mobile phone. Arrived at the office around 9:15am, and started out my work as per normal.
Well.. had a little chat with Darren, Dmitri, Joel, Ronn and Sam (developer team). Apparently that day was my bugzilla day too. Oh in case I had not talked about bugzilla day before.. we started this culture on "support" day. Each person (in the dev team) is assigned one day / week to do support calls. And believe me, no one wants to be in a bugzilla day.

Work continued as usual... with several support issues for me. e.g. fixing bug with error 500 from WA, performance monitor rants from CT, answering KN's questions regarding the logistic systems, listening to GC's requests on status report changes, and finally, did some work on my latest project, which I codenamed 'Advantage'. Lunch was terrific. Not about the food, but the atmosphere. I had an enjoyable afternoon, even with my regular sandwich (note that this is listed in a particular order - the order the ingredients are layered):
- multigrain sandwich, no spread
- 4 teaspoons of cooked salmon
- 2 teaspoons of cooked mushroom
- sprinkle of salts
- tasty cheese
- baby spinach
(sometimes I wonder if I suffer from OCD ! :P )

Lunch finished at 2pm... slightly longer than what we normally had if we go downstairs for lunch (i.e. not going out to Bay Street or Clarendon Street or somewhere in the jungle). Work continued till 5:30 pm. Then I had to go to Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre to attend our fortnightly badminton game. Attendance was quite low on that day: Wing, Stanley, Chris, Theresa and myself. We played till 8pm, then Stanley kindly gave me a lift to Crown Casino so that I can catch tram back home.

Around 10 pm, Hendrik and Laura came over to my apartment. mm... I cant write this anymore... maybe its better to tell it with a picture :


Well, that was such a good day for me. From the moment I opened my eyelids as a 24 years old person, till the end of the night.

As for my birthday wish.. maybe I am a silly guy, but I simply wish that she will be a happy person forever.
I guess I may not have a second birthday wish.. so I have to wait till next year.


As for my birthday resolution, I simply rethink what I had written in the past.
